Yeah, I was actually pretty impressed with the boys on Friday. Easily the best I've ever seen them play...including Otium. You guys have really improved over time, and you should all be proud...

BJN wrote:Great set. You dudes seem to improve each time I see you (as others also remarked). I especially liked the Paper Otium song (singers past and present side by side) and the third last song (this mute tide) which sounds good on the CD too.

Speaking of the CD... there's not enough real "paper" on there. A booklet or something would've been appropriate ...and even more so an actual fold-out paper people chain (like the one depicted in the artwork) would've been fairly original and fun! could've had the band member names on them too! Most dissappointed. And "The Deal" isn't on the CD... but other than that, it's pretty good.

The production on the CD sounds great. Fantastic in fact...very impressive...

I'm still not a huge fan of the songwriting in general though...there are a few good bits here and there, and I can hear what you guys are trying to achieve...but a lot of it really doesn't pull me in, and ends up sounding a little bland...

I don't mean to be negative...but I'm just calling things as I see them...

In the end I do admire what you guys have put together, and wish you nothing but good things for your future together...

Still really frustrated that I had to miss Walking Zero. Damnit! The other support band was hilariously god-awful! And $15 to get in...what's with that?!

Yeah, I REALLY didn't get into those guys at all...

Thanks for coming along guys, the support is much appreciated. Yeah I understand what you're saying Luis and the feedback is really good. I can see where you're coming from, and we're always looking to improve on the songwriting. We'll write a bunch more tracks over December and January and hopefully come up with some really awesome stuff.

$15 is a bit expensive and we wanted it to be $10, but we were told $15 is the usual entry for Blink on Friday.

With the artwork... yeah that stuff would have been cool, but we're all poor haha. It's definitely a great idea for the next CD though. Where were you BJN when we were thinking of art ideas?

Did Channy get any amazing photos?
I touched her hand... her hand touched her boob. By the transitive property, I got boob! Algebra's awesome!

I went down the Shire on Saturday, and low and behold on my drive down... The corner of Princess Highway and Park st. to be precise.

I see on the corner a sign for "Champions" dance studio, EXACTLY THE SAME FONT!!!

you guys are from down that way too aren't you?

I didn't even know this CD was being made until I found out about the EP launch. I haven't been online much, especially not on myspace (it's blocked from TAFE computers for some reason).
