Cog - Sharing Space

Techniques to stimulate the vestibule

I've only heard it a couple of times (live and only once on the radio so far).

It's definitely not an instant hit like Real Life or My Enemy and I have my apprehensions if this is suppose to be the 'strongest' song for a single for the new album...

It's definitely going to take a few listens both of the song itself and how it works in relation to the rest of the album.

But, I'm still biased and love the band anyway.

I remember hearing this song WAY back at the Selinas gig, and it made quite an impression then. It is definitely the stand out track of all the new songs I have heard thus far. Having now heard it in its recorded form, the song has lost some of its impact for me. Still fantastic, but not sure if it's "single" material...not sure how it will go at engaging the masses...

'what if' is really growing on me.

i wasn't really sure of it at first, particularly as the opening single of the album. but as a song i am really digging it, and i think the lyrical theme is something that is pretty powerful...

its a very brave move in my opinion - when you look at something like 'My Enemy' and in comparison. but something i guess i have a lot of respect for...
