Seriously?

I really REALLY liked it.
Whilst I agree it was quite slow paced...there's just something about the way that Mallick conveys the story, emotion and overall general atmosphere that is suited to that style. I almost relate him to Kubrick in that way.

Mallick is an artist, not an entertainer...

Yeh seriously.

I wanted to REALLY REALLY like it. I was with people who had seen it before and loved it. I really enjoyed Colin Farrell in it (Am I the only guy that likes that fella everyone seems to hate his guts). I enjoyed the slow pace of the story initially but by the time Christian Bale arrived I was like FUCK!!!

Yeh I don't know about the Kubrick call...I have never been clock watching during a Kubrick movie.

Wait....wait...

Christian Bale is in this movie?!?!?! And I haven't seen it?!?!?!

I'll watch 3 hours of Christian Bale doing nothing, no problem...

Yep he is in it. As always he is solid. Easily my favourite actor going around at the moment.

You will probably like this movie. I seem to be the only one who didn't... :puppy:
