That was exactly my thought.

You made so many good points from what you told me and they quote you like "I submitted a song. The end."

Did you even say that? It doesn't really sound like you. I've never heard you say the word "conceded"...

Yeah, I guess I did...but the way he has used that quote makes me sound sterile and weak...and completely devoid of any point I was trying to make. He could of at least included the rest of my opinion on why I had "conceded"...like high exposure in a major motion picture etc. I told him that I saw it as an investment into a future career in the music industry, and that whilst yes, I wouldn't make money out of that one song, I had the potential to make a lot of money elsewhere. So by sacrificing one song, so to speak, I would open the door for the rest of my music.

To me, that makes sense, and is a good way to look at the competition...but of course you don't get that from his article at all. VERY biased IMO...

Agreed.

Not very well written at all and really comes to no conclusion.

Even the sentence before your quote:

"...the deal was worth the potential exploitation as it only related to one song."

Set up to make you look like you are very careless with what you do.

Very biased and very unfair. Does not plead your case at all...

This is pretty much exactly what I read into your quote. I agree that it is a poor article though.

Both you and Magdalena had good points. As long as people make a well informed decision about entering then I don't see a problem with it to be honest.

I find it funny on the forum on the Hitman Movie myspace that someone noted something about the movie producers wanting something for nothing. The fact is if they didn't have the rights to the music, than the entrants would be getting something (MASSVIE publicity) for nothing.

Imagine the fucking buzz you would get out of seeing footage of a major motion picture to the sounds of something YOU created..... would be worth more than any amount of money to me.....

That is exactly what I said to the writer of the interview. Pretty cool of him to leave all that out, huh?
