MY TICKETEK INTERNET PRE-SALE
Pre-sale starts : Fri 15 Jun, noon
Pre-sale ends* : Sun 17 Jun, 5pm
General public on sale : Mon 18 Jun, 9am

I'm not sure how I'm buying my ticket. I don't think buying internet presales (or buying tickets online at all) is safe via public computers and I won't be at mu Mum's this weekend either (mind you I'm sure the presales will sale out fairly quickly anyhow.

Um... since I REALLY fucking want to go more than once this time (couldn't only afford one concert last time) and can perhaps afford it now that I have a job, but will only be abe to go to one Sydney show since if they announce another Sydney show on the 15th I won't be able to go because I'm already booked up for that weekend.
So I'm considering going to the Newcastle concert. However, tickets go on sale at the same time as the Sydney show but the former is through ticketek and the latter is through ticketmaster and I can't be at two ticket offices at the same time and be able to buy a good seat at both.

Actually, even though Sydney is supposed to be through ticketmaster, there's nothing on the ticketmaster website about presales or even the general sales.

But yeah... (<- a Sydney habit of speech I've notice amongst myself and others) I would like to go to both Sydney (September 14th) and Newcastle (Sep. 18th)... Mind you, if we stay overnight in Newcastle like we did for SC3, I'll have to take the day after off work.

Oh, so tickets are available from the Sydney Opera House Box Office as well? And I see that's where you (Chan-Chan) found the ticket price, since elsewhere it's been said all shows are $125). Hmm... still, I have to choose a spot to go buy a ticket for one of the shows if I buy it in person on Monday morning (provided I can have the morning off work).

So, um... could you (Luis and Chantel) maybe buy my ticket for both Sydney and Newcastle (or one or the other). I'll pay for it, paying in advance or whenever is convenient?

OK, I managed to buy tickets online this morning for both Sydney shows and Newcastle. Which seats do you have?

Yeah... I almost bought a ticket (Stalls! Row Q) but the stupid ticketek site flipped out on my at the last moment and I decided to spend my money on a ticket for a different concert... :|

However, I still want to go... Anyone want to buy me a (good) ticket for this third Sydney show (on Tues. 25th Sep.)? I'll pay you back later in the week or swap my ticket for the second Sydney show (Mon. 24th). SMS text me if you want to do this (provided you have my number). :)

The best way to purchase really good tickets, I believe, is to be first in queue at a ticket outlet at the time of tickets going on sale... because even though, a friend of mine and myself both tried at 9am (the day the first and second shows went on sale) and tried for "best available" we still ended up with Circle seats, row S, which is pretty shit really. And it annoys me that these far away seats are just as expensive as the really close seats. Oh well. At least I have a seat in Stalls for Newcastle. 8)
