Bleeding from nose, throat & ears

CONTEXT.

When Meantime came out, there had been nothing like it before it. They had a massive impact on heavy music, and influenced a plethora of bands. I started drop D tuning after hearing that album, something I didn't even know you could do at the time...

I didn't put Vulgar in my essential albums list? It should also definitely be there...

OK then.

i didn't know there weren't any other albums that had drop D tuning on them before 1992.

It's almost completely certain it would have been quite common. But I'm too drunk at the moment to really think about it.
I think Helmet certainly milqued it for what it was worth though...

....

Anyways. HELMET. $50... who's going?

And which night... or both? i can't decide if i want to go to both nights (of if i can afford it)... so the Tuesday night gig might sell out before i make up my mind. In which case, i'm most likely going on the Monday night.

It's funny, the SELF boys don't know which night they're going because Craig (guitar) can't remember and must not have gotten a receipt (since it's moshtix, the receipt is the only thing with information printed on it).

PS:
Meantime is definitely growing on me. i've been listening to it every day since i bought it. Short album.

Tuesday 27th of March now sold out.

Monday 26th of March still available.

Untermensch, buy tickets now and i will pay you back next week.

PS:
the support bands are Regular John and The Nation Blue both nights. i've seen both bands before and neither really impressed me, but i thought i should list them here so people know who is supporting.

Also, i bought Betty on Sunday.
