Probably. i do react differently to hearing stuff on CD than experiencing stuff live. Maybe it's because there's less distractions / more focus or something. i'd say hearing it more often too, but that defeats the purpose of being catchy (if the hooks are supposed to sink in on first listen).

Either way, i don't actually care. i usually much prefer stuff that grows on me than what's instantly accessible, although ideally songs should do both.
