I have the choice of being constantly active and happy or introspectively passive and sad. Or I can go mad by ricocheting in between. - Sylvia Plath

I went to this with some trepidation.
I'd never heard Laura before, but regardless figured it wouldn't be my cup of tea.
I was pleasantly surprised.

She writes good quirky, catchy songs and is pretty good on guitar and vocals.
My main criticism of her would be she's not much of a front woman. Hasn't got much of a command of the stage.
But I guess that awkwardness lends to her appeal in a way.

The final song she played that night, the only one featuring her on keys, was easily my favourite.

I'd definitely go along to see her again...

PS Her sister is better looking...
