Ryan Phillippe may be set to take over from Tommy Lee Jones after reportedly landing the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the upcoming Batman Begins sequel. Reese Witherspoon's husband will join Heath Ledger, who has signed on to play The Joker, and new Batman Christian Bale in The Dark Knight. Crash star Phillippe beat Liev Shreiber and Josh Lucas to the role of the scheming district attorney, played by Jones in 1995 movie Batman Forever, according to internet reports. Academy Award winners Sir Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman have also joined the cast, while fellow Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman is in talks to play The Penguin in the new film.

Tommy Lee Jones was a cool Two-Face but Jack Nicholson as the Joker was a god :P

The other Batmans (the movies themselves), that came after the first Batman were jokes.

Joel Schumacher as director of the two last films should be shot. About 3 months back, I watched Batman and Robin (again) and I couldn't stop laughing at Arnold as Mr.Freeze  Seriously, Joel made a joke out of Batman -_- But I guess he was trying to get the old TV series feel to the movies he directed.

Yeah, it's going to be hard to top Nicholsons performance.

I liked both of Burton's Batman films. Batman Returns was fantastic.

The other films were a pile of shite...

Batman Returns is probably the best Batman film ever though...

You're only saying that cos it had Catwoman ;) I still think the first Batman was the best of the two movies. Gotta say I loved Catwoman though but Penguin freaked me the fuck out. *shudders*

Great acting from Danny DeVito though ^^b

But yeah the Burton films were the best :D
