...on my way home with Chantel from a bday celebration for our good friend Magdalena, we were attacked and physically assaulted by a man, on enmore rd, a couple of hundred meters from where we live. As a result I suffered a significant amount of head trauma, and am really feeling it this morning. As I was with Chantel, I was focused on protecting her, and removing her from harm. As the man repeatedly punched me in the head, I felt my main priority was to get him on the ground, and restrain him. Once I finally did this and was on top of him, the bouncers from the nearby Town Hall pub, hearing the screams, came to my aid, and helped restrain him until police arrived. He was arrested, and we will be pressing charges. We were at the police station until 5am, giving statements.

I guess the main thing is that we are both ok and at home safe now.

Newtown police women are tops too.

Thank yous also go to Eric the Townie Bar Manager that looked after us, and the Regular Security guard that ran over and called the cops. Also, thanks to Hanna the bar chick who helped calm me down and Dave, her friend that stopped Luis from killing the guy.

Luis, thank you very much for doing all that you could to protect me. :love:
