For me SCIENCE had some really unique moments (more musically the drum and bass work is quite unbelievable at times..) whereas Make Yourself being quite commercially appealing sounds like every other band on the block...this trend continued with Incubus until their last effot for me was unlistenable.

i agree... thats why i love science so much.
i was lucky enough to see alot of the science album played live when incubus first came to australia.
