There's a difference between private and public property

Scotty - dude. The Locals only stuff is not good my friend.

I don't surf so I don't know but this kind of tribal mentaility whilst maybe helpful when we first started walking up right has no place. We have evolved mentally beyond that.

All these little pidgeon holes. Our monkey brains are wired that way I know but we are more than our genes my friend. I refuse to accept their programming man..

We put people in boxes by religion, by sex, by sexual orientation, by country, by political views, now we add by where you live in that country and by which beaches you do or do not surf...?

Tribe vs Tribe, then Nation vs Nation not much difference just the tribes got bigger.

Cause hey our tribe hates the other tribe why should we care if they live or die?

The behaviour on Sunday and subsequent nights is no different from Animal Planet documentaries where you see the young males of different ape tribes beating the crap out of each other. Why cause their different. They can't really help it.

We can or at least I hope we can.

And Scotty if you want to have a BBQ on public land and have the permit to do it near the mosque in Lakemba and all is legal there is nothing wrong with that and you have my full support

mmm unexplained bacon...

Yet again, Andrew explains it perfectly.

That locals only stuff is bullshit anyway.
I bet any people of Lebanese decent who are local Cronulla folk are also copping shit...

You're only as young as the girl you are with, or the drummer in your band...

im a little dissapointed that luis and chantel are pushing propaganda from outwardly over the top news services such as ninemsn news. guys i agree with what your saying ,but you should get your news elsewhere like the reality of talkback callers on 2ue or 2gb.you guys are really likely to push misinformation and prejudiced one sided journalism. I am surprised at how naive you two are in regards to the printed or otherwise media. they helped propogate and inflame tensions which you two are continuing with. do you honestly beleive this crap - racsism & politics should be discussed on a music website - forum? sorry if i disagree. guess what luis? now i myself am being threatened and ostracised 4 being of anglo - aussie appearance in sutherland yesterday by two guys of middle eastern appearance. im fucking pissed off. i have had more close arab - lebanese - mouslim friends than most of you, now im aware and somewhat worried about running into mouslims who think im a troublestarting typical redneck aussie. Menzie S, Ahmad R and Mohomad S can attest to being great mates of mine over the years, yet here i am dodging trouble, try living in this area being an aussie instead of hiding in your highrise apartment in newtown!

What exactly is your problem?
What propaganda are we pushing?
You say you agree with what we're saying, yet contradict that with saying we are being misinformed and naive? Make up your mind dude.
And HOW EXACTLY are we propogating and inflaming current tensions??
By speaking our minds honestly and openly?
I challenge you to find any untruths to the things we have discussed and put forth...

This forum is for discussion of any topic, especially stuff that directly relates to our day to day lives. Obviously other forum members feel the same way. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it.

And what the hell has living in an apartment in Newtown have to do with it??
Are you an idiot? Does that negate my right to have an opinion?
What's with the condecending attitude? How are we hiding?
What do you mean by "try being an Aussie"?
Not only have I lived in this Country longer than you, I have contributed a hell of a lot more than you have over the years...

For the record, Chantel grew up in and spent the majority of her life living in Campbelltown.

I have lived in Sans Souci, in THE SHIRE (Heathcote, then Engadine), Stanwell Tops and Wombarra.

I think both of us have experienced and lived in areas where cultural differences abound, and have witnessed first hand negative racial tensions etc.
I think YOU'RE the one who is naive if you think otherwise...
