I'm saying that it IS tolerated, and shouldn't be, and wouldn't be if it was a lebanese gang, as opposed to a bunch of white "aussie" surfers.

That is racial prejudice, and IMO that is wrong...

And NO ONE else is allowed to enjoy this "FREE country"?

I live in Newtown. I go to the Townie almost daily (or at least walk past it). I DO NOT own the pub and I certainly DO NOT tell people to "fuck off" or intimidate/harass them LOCAL OR NOT!!!!

Nor do I expect out-of-towners to hold me up in some stupid high regard because I go there more than they do.

That kind of attitude is fucking ridiculous, Scotty

1. yes there is a "limit", they dont come in consistently and there sis often quite a gap between the good ones.

2. depends on the swell...obviously.

3. general quota depends on how good it is a guess. not really to sure, im waiting for the figures to be released.

4. no im not an idiot.

Its a surf culture thing. Think what you will about the attitude, but the fact is that if you surf you gotta respect the locals. Its not fucking stupid...its respectful.

Keep in mind this whole surf thing has nothing to do what happened on sunday.

Dude, I don't see HOW you could have that POV.
NOBODY OWNS the beach, it's there for everybody to enjoy.
Bra Boys etc are just as bad as any Lebanese gang...

But you also said that it didn't come down to racism either...

what exactly is you point?

Why are you debating in this thread about 'irrelevant' issues?
