If both parties are proffesional about the situation then their relationship (personality specific) doesn't matter.

Yes our personalities don't gel - but we do our jobs, keep to ourselves and are civil. That's all you have to do. A clash, as mrkeys mentioned, would definitely have to be a bit more heated than just the fact that you wouldn't be social with them outside of work

dude agreed, please read what I have written...
Proffessionalism (part of it it as adaptability to your surroundings including the people) is a key to everything in my life not just in my work...
I think I stated this in the thread.
