I have been there twice...was thinking of living there for a bit when Uni is over but not so sure anymore...My mom would love it but you know it's bloody expensive.

First time was there for like a month this time only for about 2 weeks... my mum lives in DC so it's like a 3 hours by car or whatnot. Those photo's where from this time around New Year's Period Dec 2006...Awesome place....best live music scene I think I have seen anywhere...then again I haven't been to alot of biggish places...

Saw some amazing music....At the Blue Note (the photo) The Saturday Night Live Band play with Chris Botti...great muso's \ shitty venue...Birdland and other's are better..Actually saw Lynch's Inland Empire that day he spoke at the beginning of it (deeply deeply weird fellow)....weirdest bloody thing I think I have ever laid eyes on....will definately go again when it comes here

Leave on Sunday night, back on Thursday - then off to the Gold Coast for a bit of relaxing.

Won't get any sightseeing done.

have fun dude...so so much to do...check out Greenwich Village if you can...go to Central Park, walk the Brooklyn Bridge if you can..

For me Sydney is mellow..cruisy and laidback MOST of the time. New York is like the opposite bloody frantic but you can be safe in the knowledge that at ANY time of day there are thousands of people who want to do the same thing as you.
