P!NK -I'm Not Dead Tour!! April 2007

Postby Chantel » Wed Nov 08, 2006 12:22 pm

Love her or hate her, there's no denying that since being written off as a teen pop phenomenon, Pink has made a comeback of monumental proportions. to become one of the best selling artists of this millennium.

Since making her debut in 2000 with the R&B/pop infused Can't Take Me Home, Pink has continued to surprise the critics. After being written off for the chauvinistic lyrics of 2000's You Make me Sick, Pink hit back with her follow up album M!ssunderztood (co written with 4 Non Blondes' Linda Perry) which spawned four hit singles and quickly shook off any connotations of the sophomore slump. Her third album, Try This was co-written with Tim Armstrong of punk band Rancid and reached the Top 10 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Her 2006 release I'm Not Dead reached number one in the ARIA charts just last

month (Oct 2006), making this almost perfect timing for the singer to announce an Australian tour.

Alive and kicking, Pink returns to WOW audiences across the nation with her boldest shows to date!

Pink and her band and dancers put on a powerful, hit-packed show with all her signature brash and in-your-face flare, whipped up with her unique blend of soulful funk punp-pop rock and roll!

Dominating the stage and performing hit after hit, Pink will lift the roof with tracks such as Get The Part Started, Family Portrait, Just Like A Pill, There You Go, God Is A DJ, and her most recent smashes from the hugely successful number 1 album I'm Not Dead: Who Knew, You and Your Hand and Stupid Girls.

Combining attitude and class, flamenco and burlesque, giant feathers and strippergram cops, the show climaxes with the bikini and boot clad daredevil writhing high above the stage in a suspended net.
