Luke sent me a text about this... I'm glad it's Thursday next week and not this week, otherwise that'd be a bummer.

I was going to try and go to the last available performance of Dead Caesar (by two members of Chaser. A rather appropriate way to celebrate John Howard's birthday, I thought), but this is probably a lot more cost effective and unmissable.

Shamefully, this will only be my second time witnessing Gauche perform.

I would like to know why it's their "last ever" show though. It gives me the impression they're going to have a group suicide at the end of the gig! Maybe one of the key members is dying and I shouldn't joke about that, who knows?

Well, the band started when Jane and Alon were together. They have since broken up...so I'm guessing that has something to do with it....
