This was never about the support that you or Luis give live music. It was about the fact that playing at shit venues will not help bring crowds and that Junto should be booking themselves into better venues because they deserve to be playing better venues. Simple as that. E xcept you and Luis got fired up because you took it as a personal attack.

You two out of everyone should know the benefits of playing at better venues and the negatives of playing at crap venues. You're musos and should understand that.

or they have no desire for their friends to excel in a career in music,

Our support for the live scene shows that YES, as a matter of fact, we DO want our friends to succeed. THAT'S what it was about, Dom.

Except you and Luis got fired up because you took it as a personal attack.

Show me where I took it as a personal attack.

What I got upset about, was you acting all high and mighty and talking shit about Luis' and my understanding of booking the "good shows" and accusing us of not wanting to see our friends succeed. Especially when you know that is complete and utter bullshit.

You two out of everyone should know the benefits of playing at better venues and the negatives of playing at crap venues. You're musos and should understand that.

:dunce: No....I'm just a blinded, subjective retard that doesn't understand anything about the music industry...

Meh, my opinion still stands, regardless.

And that's fine.

But do NOT go around assuming and accusing people of ways of thinking, when you have nothing to back it up or base those assumptions on.

So how was the show in the end? I hope it went well and I've been proven completely wrong.

There wasn't that many people there (probably because of the attitude of "I'm not going to support a band I really like because they're not playing in a venue I want them to play in")

They played really well and it was a great chance for them to work on the new songs live a bit more.

They've got some great new songs (thankfully they've dropped Kane's foray into folk music). Really looking forward to hearing them recorded.

I met Tim Powles a couple of weeks ago and he agreed that Junto have something special.
