Fucking FANTASTIC show last night!
I sang my little lungs out...

They played pretty much every song I wanted to hear, other than Cave. Actually, they didn't play anything off the first album at all, which was strange...

So i happened to snag 2 tickets to this last minute yesterday for Tina and Myself (tina being a huge muse fan and not having the funds/sold outness of it all made her very happy)....

I went to the gig first of all being very dissapointed by the bands latest release and also never being the biggest muse fan ever - within the first 2mins i could feel that my opinion on the band were about to change.

First of all - this was the first time i had heard a good mix in the hordern EVER, the sound was great, the lights/visuals were flawless (wow i dont think ill ever be able to touch a lighting rig again - knowing ill never be that good)....and all this is well and great - but if it wasnt for the band none of that would of mattered, and they killed it .

Set length was great too - i did get a bit bored towards the end (short attention span) but cause the last songs were the ones i actually knew i didnt fall asleep.

I rate this gig 4 Luis's out of a possible 5.
have you ever played the internet?

I was there too. They played Sunburn but that was it off Showbiz.

They were fantastic as they always are, but for me it didnt have the same "awe" as it had on the Absolution tour. I dont like the new album much so that probably had something to do with it. However I was still blown away, the whole band are amazing and they put on a brilliant show.

Dude I agree with a lot of what you said.

This was a much better show than last time they played the Hordern.

Sound and lighting were definitely flawless...

The opener, "Take a Bow", was fucking gold. Probably the best opening I've ever seen them do...

Hmmm. Hang on a sec...on second thought I take it back, they didnt. I had it confused. They should have though!

Take a Bow was pretty awesome, for me personally i preferred the Apocalypse Please/Hysteria opening from the last tour.

I knew I wasn't on crack!

Don't get me wrong, Apocalypse Pls at the Hordern last time was pretty cool, and Hysteria at The Metro is one of the highlights of my concert going experiences, in fact, that whole gig is...but there was something about "Take a Bow", the slow build up, the anticipation, the overwhelming climax...just really did it for me. It's a great fucking song...
