pricey, but well worth it.

I don't think it's that pricy. $121 (+18 booking/admin fee which I actually do think is ridiculous) for FNM AND Jane's Addiction.

I imagine both those bands' shows by themselves would be about $90-$110 each alone.

Plus there's actually a couple of other bands I'm happy to see that day.

Good value methinks.

well - you guys must have got the 'early' early-bird tickets.

Mine were $150+ plus the abovementioned booking/admin/postage fees.

it is a bit much, though some of my favorite bands are also playing. For the 3 bands that i would definitely buy a ticket to see if they came separately, it is still worth it.

Shit... I know I look like an idiot, but... where do you buy them and when? Clicking on "tickets" on the Soundwave website doesn't lead to anything. I paid someone else to buy my ticket last year.

Still would prefer to see each band (that I love) individually, than at a crumby festival, but will likely end up doing both again (if I can get tickets).

General sale tickets go on sale on the 18th now, I think.

Apart from getting to see three of my favourite bands, you'd have to PAY me $150 to go back to Soundwave 2009 and even then it probably wouldn't be worth it. The things I/we do for the bands I/we love.
