All in good time...

Been putting a lot of thought into it lately actually. Channy and I were deeply discussing a lot of the aspects of the project the other night. It's going to come together quite nicely I think.

Really excited to get started on it after The Locus Scene and Shanghai...

Was ok. They all seemed a bit bored and disinterested at the beginning of the set. The sound wasn't the best. But they warmed up half way through and the gig was enjoyable enough. Towards the end they altered and lengthened a few songs and John Maddox thought he'd go a little theatrical showing of some virtuosity by playing his double bass over his shoulder and showing off some licks with his affects peddle.
Look Dubber played some pretty impressive solos etc. Julian looked like he was going to fall asleep the whole night. Alon was impressive as usual. And Jane was, well... Jane. Hit the right notes and all but still didn't emit much emotion, though she interacted with the audience more than usual.
So yeah. This gig wasn't anything overly great besides being their last one, and being Gauche ofcourse, they can't REALLY go wrong. I could never hope to be as good as any of the band members.

Cool write-up Untermensch :) You should of attended Hitman!!
Was a pleasure to see Entropic warm up the stage before Gauche.I would view this band anyday again.Talk about no emotion by Jane,it was'nt till the last song of the first set 'Hurricane' to see any. Then songs into the band's second set (yes, very little). It was an enjoyable experience to see the band live and their final one at that. With only the cd's to remember them by.

Agreed. Although I thought they were quite well into it throughtout the second set and the encore was much needed and well done! It's a shame that we won't get to see them play together again, though grateful that we can see them in different projects, such as the mighty Darth Vegas and The Tango Saloon.

Would like to see Entropic again, but I'm only interested in them as a live band because they're recorded stuff on myspace sounds a bit bland... dull... maybe it will grow on me, but there's more energy and "life" in the their live performance.
