Musical shapeshifter Amanda Palmer returns to Australia at the tail-end of summer for five special shows. The Dresden Dolls firebrand (and one of FasterLouder’s People Of 2009) came down here around the same time last year, earning ecstatic reviews around the country.
In the words of our Perth reviewer: “Amanda Palmer brought it all: murder and mayhem; theatre, cabaret, lounge and pop; amazing musicians and talented actors.” You can expect the same warmth between audience and performer when she makes her return.
