Nothing against them, musically. In fact, I'd like to go and see them...

well that's the important thing.

The fact that they aren't returning gigs when promised is MUCH more important than being a decent band.

Rook are pretty good, and I enjoy their sets - but I HATE bands that do that type of bullshit - especially when I have had chats with them about bands doing the same thing to them - and how upset they are about it.

Well, i guess with local bands where you get to know them personally, you're right. Not good for the scene! Unhealthy attitudes.

Yet, i feel if you like a band's music you shouldn't let anything get in the way of that. The politics behind things can overshadow that sometimes and i get annoyed when that happens.

But they definitely shouldn't have done that to you. Bastards!
