Birds of Tokyo are very excited to announce the release of their debut album, Day One, for February 2007 and to celebrate they’re hitting the road on a national tour.
After releasing their demo EP to glowing reviews and huge success in January 2005, Perth based rock quartet, Birds of Tokyo flew to Melbourne in July to record the first taste of a debut album, with highly acclaimed producer and good friend Forrester Savell (Helmet, Full Scale, Gavin Rossdale, Karnivool).
Recording took place at the famed Sing Sing studio with the result of the first album sessions being the double A-side single One Way/Stay, which captured Birds of Tokyo in full live mode.
To coincide with the release of Day One early next year, Birds of Tokyo will be sweating it out on stages across the country.
