One of the most anticipated live performances of 2006 happened on May 1, as Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, stepped out of their Oxford studio, where they’ve been holed up for the past few months working on the follow up to 2003’s Hail To The Thief. The duo's rare appearance was to lend support to The Friends of The Earth’s climate campaign ‘The Big Ask’, held at London’s Koko.
The pair played semi-acoustic versions of some of their biggest hits and even took the opportunity to air three new tracks from their next studio album. The tracks ‘Arpeggi’, Bodysnatchers’ and another that’s still to be titled, were bootlegged from the performance and have already started to surface online at the band’s fansites.
Take a sneak peak now on: http://www.greenplastic.com (not that we ever condone the bootlegging of artist's music...)
