    "PORN TO RULE!
    Sydney rock, electronic and dance band National Pornographic are currently in a Sydney studio mixing their April due album "Now You're One Of Us" -- with help from no less than US producer Rick Wills, (Incubus, No Doubt, Fear Factory), who's worked on many of their fave albums.

    So how does a little known Aussie band snare someone like Wills? Says the band's Matt Preston, "Basically I emailed Rick a link to our website and asked him to check out MP3s of our tracks. I thought considering he had worked with rock bands like Incubus, and danceier acts like No Doubt, he may like our stuff. They were very rough demos, so I expected to not even hear back from him. But he gave me a call not long after saying he's keen to work on the entire album."

    National Pornographic will preview some of the new material when they play Newtown RSL on Friday 3rd March with Toy Death, DJ Kato and an aerosol demonstration by Ecks."

    their good....had a few sellout shows at the Marquee and the Dale. Met them at a Hopetoun show of theirs cause I heard good things

    kind of has some Bunglesque funk in it....funky weirdness maybe like Funkadelic meets Zappa something like that....DJ was crappola though :lol:

    played a few shows on the East Coast and I have always been envious cause the bastards are living off playing music...

    yeh many people do it but these guys have that whole DIY thang happening

    do everything from the writing of the songs, promotion, gigs, recording blah di blah..

    kind of envious that they have pulled it off...
