Top Ten Films

A tough task indeed!

I'm just going to write down whatever first comes to mind without thinking about it too much, otherwise I'll be here forever.

I'm also limiting myself to just one film per director.

In no particular order:

A Clockwork Orange
Pulp Fiction
Blue Velvet
Bladerunner
The Godfather II
Brazil
Raging Bull
Naked Lunch
The Empire Strikes Back
Pan's Labyrinth

SO many close contenders (Sin City and Clerks came in REAL close). I'm even surprising myself for putting Pan's Labyrinth in there...as it is relatively new, compared to the others. Also, very tough trying to choose only one film per director (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now!...).

Anyway, let me know what you think, and make sure you post your list, as I'm keen to see what other peoples opinions/tastes are like...

Pretty good list actually! Magnolia, Requiem for a Dream, Amelie, The Departed, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas all get my nod of approval. What's Eating Gilbert Grape is interesting though. Great film, but not sure if it deserves that kind of rating. American History X as well. There's many films with similar subject matter that I'd choose before that. Hugely overrated film IMO. The Lion King can fuck off...
