We have just added our track 'Orion' to our playlist on Unearthed.

'Orion' is the first track NUCLEUS wrote with the new lineup of the band, and the drums were recorded during the '9 Months in Solitary' EP sessions. Since, the song has been totally re-constructed, and is now an epic track in a class of its own.

'Orion' - the contellation often referred to as 'The Hunter' has more than one version of a story surrounding Greek Mythology. In a version, Artemis - the goddess of hunt and the moon fell in love with him. She was so entranced by him, she forgot her divinely duty of illuminating the night sky. Her twin brother Apollo, jealousy led him to summon a giant scorpion, which not even the mighty hunter Orion could defeat, and he was killed by its poisonous sting. When Artemis found out what Apollo did, she places Orions body among the stars.

So swing by the Unearthed page and give this track a listen. You will not find the track anywhere else but on the Triple J site currently. Stream it, Review it, Download it, Rate it. This song is sure to be a favorite on the upcoming tour.

Easily your best song. Well played, and brilliantly recorded/produced. Dense and vibrant sound, yet still managing to come across quite spatial. Songwritingwise, there is the obvious Nucleus influence, which is hard to disregard. Having said that, it is well paced & structured, although a little too long for radio, clocking in at almost 6 mins. I really do love the breakdown section around the 4 min mark, making for a very nice contrast with the rest of the song.

Well done everyone involved...
