    those are two of my favourite quotes too!!! Joss Whedon and the Buffy series has saved me thousands of times, and inspired me even more. I love everything about, esp the complete box set that someone else is getting for xmas that I WILL have unlimited access to! :wink:

    Joss' ability to take a completely serious heart felt situation and turn it on it's ass to make a joke out of it is timeless for example.

    Hitman fair enough on the nerd thing.. :grin:

    J I love Angel. I thought it was very Buffyesque perhaps alittle darker. Still funny but alot more intense in some places. Angel's story was kind of filled out, I became alot more sympathetic to Darla and Cordy really began to shine on her own.

    I loved Faith in Angel as well. She basically appeared like the bg bad of old and through action demanded that he kill her. Faith besides being uberhot was given alot of room to take her character through a big story arc you knew there was a story behind her bravado and I think Joss did it perfectly.

    But I kind of lump Angel and Buffy togehter.

    J this ain't really the forum for this kind of thing but happy to discuss this via email. Buffy is quite "important" in TV have a look at quirky teen stuff with clever dialogue pre and post. Will leave this off this thread though but Buffy has been exhaustively analysed...happy to share wherever whenever..

    and Andrew, definately take you up on that offer my friend. You just lemme know when/where you'll be at next gig and we shall alienate pub upon pub with unrestricted "buffy talk"

    Stass - that was a great episode..

    have to say I have a soft spot for Angel..good actor and I like the way Cordelia makes fun of his broodiness...here's another fav a long one long but great it was Cordelia and Wes acting like Angel
