Yeah, I'd go for either one of those.

The problem as I see it, is I only really like a few songs here and there off each album, not any album all the way through. There's a lot of filler IMO...

Yes I feel Primus are a good example of a band with an interesting style, but very very few outstanding songs. Except maybe Seas of Cheese. I've always been able to listen to that album all the way through...

My favourite song is Tommy The Cat, but they've never managed to even get close to writing anything else equally as brilliant. Most of their albums bore me by the 3rd or 4th song...

Apparently Les Claypool's solo album Of Whales and Woe involves a lot more playing in the songs.

Sailing the Seas of Cheese is a pretty classic album. Primus did a "tour de fromage" performing the whole thing in entireity not too many years ago.

Definitely add The Number of the Beast for Hitman's list of essential albums?
