For a live recording, the quality is pretty good. Aside from the bass, which sounds pretty poor in the breakdown section.

The guitars in the verses sound really messy - I'm not sure if that's a recording thing or what's being played.

The chorus riff is really catchy - I dig that part.

This isn't Eliza's best vocal performance, she sounds a bit off at the start. I think you guys are going to have to start pushing her a bit more now. She can definitely sing but she's starting to sit in a melodic comfort zone with her vocals. Dynamics is more than just singing soft or singing loud - she's going to have to start streching her range, and not always going for the in-your-face chorus style.

All in all it's a pretty cool song, but not radically different from what I've heard from you guys before.
I touched her hand... her hand touched her boob. By the transitive property, I got boob! Algebra's awesome!

I'll check it out soon, Dyl, as I'm sure you wouldn't want me checking it out on these shitty laptop speakers...

cool, cheers dom and scott.

eliza has been getting some pretty intense vocal coaching over the last 5 or 6 weeks. This show that was recorded we werent even sure she was going to be able to do at the time. her throat was in a pretty bad way - hence the vocal training was needed. the hardest part for her now is to obviously get rid of the old habits, especially on stage where its so easy to lose focus.

as far as the guitars go, totally correct. we've actually just parted with the second guitarist and are back to a 4 piece (about the 16th lineup change for the band..). Its not really needed and like you said, kinda makes things messy.
