Muse - Absolution Tour DVD

Techniques to stimulate the vestibule

Postby Zanmato » Mon May 08, 2006 11:17 am

I just wanted to say I have the Absolution Tour DVD. It kinda sucked though, because I already had a bootleg of that concert. :P

That'll show me. :( From this day forth, I shall no longer be a pirate! *throws away his eyepatch and hook hand*

Seriously though, Hullabaloo was better. I actually love Absolution the most out of all their albums (it's also my fave album ever) but Hullabaloo was better quality.

Although that could just be because Hullabaloo was my first ever live DVD, I already had the concert from the Absolution Tour DVD in a bootleg and I have crappy headphones.

Either way, it still rocked. 8)

Yeah, Hullabaloo is much better.
The Absolution DVD was a bit of a let down, actually, even though I adore the album...

I couldn't agree more actually. It was a bit of a letdown for me too. But I still loved it.

Hullabaloo had a lot more tracks and was just more of a show. Whereas the Absolution Tour DVD comes off as a generic big event concert. Which is still great, but not very exciting. And some of the camerawork annoyed me. :x

Also, why the hell did they cut Citizen Erased and Stockholm Syndrome off the DVD? I know they performed them at that concert. I have them both in my bootleg.

Yes, they may have added some extra songs from other concerts (including SS performed live in a different concert). But why can't we just get the full actual concert on DVD? :x

It's supposed to be a DVD of the Glastonbury concert. It was supposed to be showing off their biggest concert they've ever performed. So why did they cut some of it out? -_-
