Who is a band that we compare to, within the Australian music scene, in terms of music style/sound/songwriting, if any?

None on the Aussie scene that I have seen. Then again the bands I see arn't really of that style, they are more rock n roll. Nu Metal is dead, thank God.

TLS sounds A LOT like Muse i guess. One of my mates that i gave the demo to many moons ago said "they sound like the hullabaloo B side disk".

Wait, you think we sound Nu Metal?
I don't see how songs like Tuanis, Bring it Down, Postcards, Tristessa etc could be labeled Nu Metal at all. None of our songs actually...

Well if i was going to "group" the band then i would say that is a little like that.

There are songs that arnt like that. i dont know what category i would put tristessa in...maybe goth rock? ha.

Postcards reminds me of the first song off Ok Computer.

The others would be more radioheadish, except for the vocals.

Opal mantra is Nu Metal, sorta.

Trying to think of other songs...

i guess maybe you would categorise TLS as "alternative"

I really don't see how it is even a little bit nu metal. I mean the songs aren't even metal at all. Nu Metal and Metal is all about riffs, and I think out of all of our songs, there are maybe 2 - 3 riffs...

I would say bands like Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Cog would be labeled Nu Metal before us (I'm not saying they are, I'm just saying), and we don't sound anything like those bands, and it's also funny because you say Nu Metal is dead in this country...

Why don't you just admit that you don't know what you are talking about, Scotty?

Not only can't you name a similar Aussie band, you can't even categorise us.

I reckon that's pretty cool for us actually...
