The Locus Scene...In Technicolour
The long awaited debut EP from The Locus Scene is currently being chiseled away on at Well fed studios. Still a fair bit of work to be done, but it sure as hell will be worth the wait, in all it's overblown glory!
This is set to be a spectacle, in every sense of the word. Lush instrumentation is the order of the day, with some tracks featuring full orchestral backing. Flutes, Violins and Timpanis colliding majestically with Theremin, Synths and Samples, all in discordant visionary technicolour!
As an added bonus, we are also pleased to announce the inclusion of a Chinese Whispers REMIX, done by none other than the one and only Jamie Leigh (Switchkicker). Also, a video clip is in pre production, and will follow the official release.
At this stage the EP will be treated as a PROMO only industry release, with hope of a major release futher on in the year. But all you regular folk who are keen to get your grubby little mitts on a copy, fear not! We will be making available a strictly special limited editon run of 100 copies available for purchase. The ultra special packaging will feature a red transparent jewel case tray, metallic ink embossed emblem, all individually numbered, and hand signed by each member of the band!
