trains are the devil...I drove to work today cut my travel time clean in half. I really really need a car. Public transport sucks balls...

Thankfully, I'm only on a train to and from work for about 10 minutes each way....unless there are delays, terrorists etc.

I am on a train for 15 hours a week.

They are ok. I can catch a train drunk!

Short train trips are fine, it's the long ones that get to me.
It's particularly awesome when there are some screaming children on board, or other assorted weirdos...

I can't sleep on trains.
Once, I caught an overnight train from Syd to Mel.
It was packed, and I didn't get one wink of sleep, and was fucked for the next few days.

The reading IS good though...

I can sleep on trains. I even fall into a deep sleep on my 10minute-to-work train trips!!

But I always manage to wake up just before my stop.
